We’re all just meat

Who doesn’t love sci-fi? Well, a lot of people I guess, but I’d bet a fair amount of you dear readers like it, or at least appreciate the best of the genre. Me? I love sci-fi and am familiar with a lot of the basic concepts of the genre (”Robots can not harm a human being or through inaction…” hyperspace makes sense to me, that sort of thing) so a story about meat a friend just sent me didn’t hold much in the way of surprises for me, but was very entertaining nonetheless.

After all, it’s got this line:

Singing meat. This is altogether too much.

How could I not love it?It’s a short read, so check out They’re Made of Meat by Terry Bisson.
